O soft embalmer of the still midnight

Keats referred to sleep as the "soft embalmer of the still midnight" (To Sleep). Morrissey paid tribute to the poem in his own form of lullaby, singing "Sing me to sleep, sing me to sleep, I'm tired, and I, want to go to bed." (Sing Me To Sleep).

Both great English writers. Both understood what it means to be tired. Neither one traveled 25 straight hours from London to Lindon like I did yesterday.

A perfect verse for my tired bones: Carolina singing "rock-a-bizzle, don't you crizzle". Can't wait to see her tomorrow.
